Art Deco Crystal and Carnelian Necklace

Art Deco necklaces often combined contrasting materials and strong geometric rhythm, and this long crystal and carnelian necklace is a good example. It is 91cm long, with graduated carnelian beads ranging from 10.5mm to 7mm near the bolt closure. Rather than being threaded on string, the necklace is constructed entirely with individual metal links, giving it an interesting articulated structure and allowing it to sit and move nicely when worn.
