Elliot’s Eucresol Lamp is an interesting piece of Australian medical history from around 1900. Designed to vaporise Elliot’s Eucresol Liquid, it was marketed at the time for use in treating respiratory complaints by inhalation. Made in Australia for Elliotts and Australian Drug Ltd, Sydney, the lamp reflects an era when medicated vapours were a common form of home treatment. It is 16.5cm high.
