First World War Medal
This First World War medal is named to Pte L. A. Dumbrill, service number 2967, 6th London Rifles, and is dated 1914–1918. The London Rifle Brigade was a well-known Territorial unit that saw extensive service on the Western Front, and medals to its members reflect early enlistment and sustained wartime service. A solid and historically meaningful example of a Great War campaign medal, clearly impressed and closely tied to a specific unit and individual.
