Whitefriars Ruby Glass Vase

This pair of Whitefriars ruby glass vases (as photographed) stands 15.25cm and 12.75cm high, both retaining their original Whitefriars stickers. Please note that the smaller one has been sold in store. Whitefriars Glass, produced in England, became particularly well known in the mid-20th century for its rich colours and bold modern forms, with the deep ruby tone being one of the most striking in their range. Pieces that still retain their factory labels are especially appealing to collectors, as the stickers help confirm authenticity and period. The slight difference in height gives the pair a pleasing, natural balance when displayed together.
