Remued Early Series 1934

Remued pottery was produced in Melbourne by Premier Pottery and is now highly collectable for its distinctly Australian forms and experimental glazes. This early-series vase dates to 1934 and has the characteristic hand-finished appearance associated with Remued ware. It is 12cm high with a 9.5cm diameter at the top and is signed “REMUED 196/4” to the base. There are three tiny nibbles to the glaze along the top edge, consistent with its age.
