Royal Doulton "Cottage Series" 1929

Royal Doulton’s Cottage Series captured an idealised English countryside, with cottage scenes that became particularly popular on decorative wares during the early 20th century. Dating to 1929, this vase carries the pattern number D4981, with “7072” impressed into the base. It is 16.25cm high and is a good example of Royal Doulton’s decorative pottery from the interwar period.
