Royal Doulton's Porthos toothpick holder was introduced in 1955 and depicts Porthos, one of the famous characters from The Three Musketeers. Modelled in the familiar Toby Jug style for which Royal Doulton became well known, it combines practicality with characterful design. The holder is 10.5cm high and retains its original brass-tone insert, which is 3.75cm deep and is not removable.
