This Princess Plate EPNS four-piece tea set dates to around 1920 and includes a teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug, and water pot, all with hinged lids. The teapot stands 22cm high and the set is finished in triple plate, indicating a heavier deposit of silver over the base metal for durability and shine. The handles and finials appear to be early plastic or composite material, typical of the period when heat-resistant synthetic trims began to replace wood or ebony. The set is in very good condition.
