Marcasite Crucifix in Sterling on Sterling Box Chain

Marcasite has long been used in silver jewellery for its subtle, understated sparkle, and it gives this crucifix plenty of detail without being overly ornate. The sterling silver pendant is set with marcasites and is 59mm x 35.5mm. It hangs from a 53cm sterling silver box chain marked “ITALY 925,” while the piece itself is also marked 925.
