Mason's "Vista" England Teapot c.1940

This Mason’s “Vista” England teapot dates to around 1940 and stands 17.5cm high, with generous proportions that give it a strong presence on the table. The Vista pattern reflects Mason’s long tradition of richly decorated transferware, inspired by earlier chinoiserie designs that remained popular well into the 20th century. There is a very small production fault on the white section of the handle, typical of pieces from this era, but otherwise it is in very good condition.
