Faceted crystal necklaces were particularly popular in the early 20th century, offering plenty of sparkle at a time when fine jewellery was beyond many people’s budgets. Dating to around 1920, this necklace is made from oval faceted glass pieces, each approximately 14mm x 11mm, linked in sterling silver. It is 46.5cm long, weighs 24.2g and has a traditional bolt closure stamped STERLING.
